Até a próxima, take care.

Guys, come on, we deserve it. Today was exciting.
We woke up and quickly went out to find somebody to weld the cracked frames, in the incredible huge city of Anapu. While we washed the bikes, we found out that the damage was worse than we expected. The two frames were cracked in 3 parts. We found a guy called Zé that managed to weld everything for us and even could reforce them, cool. After that we stoped at a garage for some other repairs and we found out that Lucas´ hear wheel was bent. We took the tools and with the workers there we managed to fix almost everything, enough to go ahead safely.
We just had one thing in our minds: to accomplish the last 360 final kilometers of the Transamazonica road and meet the asphalt, in Marabá city.
Due to the repairs, we ended up jumping on our bikes quite late, after lunchtime, and ready to eat some more dirt. We faced rain, sun, rain, sun, stones, holes, sand and mud. The road was just awesome, a little bit of every kind of terrain on it. We kept staring at the odometers just waiting fot THE time, that came already on night time. After riding through more than 2.200 km of dirt we finally met the asphalt, and imediately started yelling and screaming of emotion inside our helmets. We stopped at a restaurant in front of the river to celebrate the fact. The bikes couldn´t believe they were stepping on hard ground, they wanted more dirt!
The feeling is just awesome, we must admit! Some of you guys know how hard it was to plan the project, and we have just crossed the Transamazônica road, from edge to edge, healthy, safe and sound. Cool, damn cool.
We would like to thank all the good vibes and energies you guys sent us, they were essential for us to finish this huge challenge successfully.
It´s not finished yet. We still have the Jalapão desert in some days and some other things, but Transamazônica is done.
Thank you, Transamazônica, for existing and for providing us so many special moments that only we will know! See you next time, take care.
